I appear before the Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi, and in writ petitions and appeals before the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court, for central government employees, candidates in central recruitment examinations, and officers of the All India Services.
What the work covers
- Recruitment and examinations — challenges to answer keys, normalisation, cancellation of vacancies, application of the reservation policy and eligibility, in examinations conducted by the Staff Selection Commission, the UPSC and other central bodies.
- Cadre, seniority and promotion — cadre allocation, seniority between direct recruits and promotees, promotion policy and departmental promotion committee proceedings, including for the Indian Forest Service and other All India Services.
- Disciplinary and other service disputes — charge sheets and inquiries, transfer and posting, probation, and pension and retiral benefits.
- Original applications, contempt petitions and review before the Tribunal, and writ petitions under Article 226 from its orders.
Groups of candidates or officers affected by one decision are often represented together; the filing is organised so each applicant’s case is separately pleaded.

- Represented candidates of the Staff Selection Commission’s Combined Graduate Level Examination in petitions challenging changes to the answer keys, before the Central Administrative Tribunal, the High Court of Delhi and the Supreme Court.
- Representing candidates of the Combined Graduate Level Examination in a challenge to the application of the normalisation process, before the Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench.
- Representing a probationer of the Indian Forest Service in proceedings challenging the allocation of cadre, before the Central Administrative Tribunal.
- Represented probationers of the Indian Forest Service seeking permission to appear in the UPSC Civil Services Examination, before the High Court of Delhi and the Central Administrative Tribunal.
