What the work covers
- Suits under the Commercial Courts Act, 2015 — recovery of money, breach of contract, supply and distribution disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes; plaints and written statements; applications for interim injunction, attachment before judgment and summary judgment, and the pre-institution mediation requirement under Section 12A.
- Intellectual property suits — trademark and copyright infringement and passing-off suits before the Delhi High Court, including ex parte injunctions and Local Commissioner proceedings.
- Appeals — first appeals and FAO(OS) (COMM) appeals before the Delhi High Court; special leave petitions and caveats before the Supreme Court.
- Pre-litigation — legal notices, replies, and settlement documentation where a dispute can be amicably resolved before approaching court.
Representative work
- Representing the Defendant in a trademark infringement suit before the High Court of Delhi.
- Representing the Plaintiff in a commercial suit for recovery of approximately INR 88 lakhs before the New Delhi District Court, Patiala House.
- Appointed by the High Court of Delhi as Local Commissioner in a trademark infringement suit instituted by an NSE-listed pharmaceutical company.
- Representing the Caveator and Respondents in a special leave petition arising out of a suit for permanent injunction, before the Supreme Court.
