- What is collected.
- Details you submit through the contact form or by email: name, email, phone number and message.
- With your consent only: usage data collected through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, such as pages visited, device, browser, approximate location, and clicks, scrolls and session recordings.
- Why. To respond to enquiries, to check for conflicts before any engagement, and to understand how the website is used.
- Cookies. Essential cookies keep the site working. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer.
- Service providers. Automattic (WordPress.com hosting, contact forms and Akismet spam filtering), Google (Analytics), Microsoft (Clarity) and Zoho (email). Some of these may process data outside India.
- Retention. Enquiry data is kept for 3 years from the last communication, unless an engagement or the law requires longer. Analytics data is kept for no more than 14 months.
- Your rights. You may withdraw consent, and seek access to, correction, completion or erasure of your personal data, by writing to abhinav@ahansaraman.in. Grievances are addressed within 90 days. You may also approach the Data Protection Board of India.
- Children. This website is not directed at persons under 18.
- No sale. Personal data is not sold or shared for advertising.
